The Emergency/Trauma Care concentration focuses on different aspects of emergency care and is offered as a post-master's completion or as an add-on concentration to the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Students enrolled in the program will focus on patient presentations in emergency departments and acute ambulatory care settings including resuscitative trauma. Additionally, students will acquire knowledge in high acuity emergency presentations including management of chronic disease exacerbation.
