School of Public Health

UTHealth Houston School of Public Health provides a top-tier education to future public health professionals and conducts innovative research leading to major breakthroughs in the prevention and treatment of today’s most important health problems. The school aims to address the deeply interconnected factors of lifestyles, neighborhoods, relationships, habits, and behaviors that affect the ability to cultivate and maintain good health at the individual and community levels. 

The School of Public Health is actively embedded in six major regions throughout Texas: Houston, Austin, Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, and San Antonio. At each school location, the faculty, students, and staff have built relationships with city governments, local communities, academic institutions, and industries – emphasizing collaboration across sectors to support better health outcomes for all.
