Since 1969, UTHealth School of Public Health has been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) every seven years, and was most recently accredited in 2020.

Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET

The Industrial Hygiene curriculum is an optional special program of the Master in Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health. The master’s level Industrial Hygiene curriculum is accredited by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET. Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
The Accreditation Council for Education in Dietetic

The Dietetic Internship Program, an optional special program of the MPH in Health Promotion/ Health Education, is fully accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program satisfies the academic requirement for certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in the areas of public health, occupational medicine, aerospace medicine, and preventive medicine; the National Board of Public Health Examiners; and the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
