The Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program prepares graduates to care for individuals, groups, and families across the lifespan in a variety of settings. There is a strong emphasis on psychotherapeutic techniques and psychopharmacotherapy. The clinical component provides interprofessional experiences working with other healthcare providers in caring for individuals and their families with psychiatric conditions.
